Sales Administrator
Location: Milton Keynes
Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time
Salary: £13.77 per hour
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 09:00–17:00; Friday, 08:30–16:30, with a 30-minute break
We are delighted to be recruiting for a Sales Administrator on behalf of our client.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive individual to join a busy and supportive team, providing essential administrative support to the Sales function.
The Role
As a Sales Administrator, you will support the Sales team with all aspects of their day-to-day administrative requirements.
Key responsibilities as a Sales Administrator will include:

Processing customer sales orders accurately and efficiently.

Scheduling deliveries and advising customers and Account Managers of expected delivery dates.

Coordinating product branding with external printers, the warehouse and haulage providers.

Preparing quotations for spare parts and processing parts orders.

Handling incoming telephone calls and responding to customer enquiries.

Raising purchase orders with suppliers and the factory.
-
Booking stock against purchase orders.
-
Liaising with the warehouse and hauliers to ensure goods are delivered efficiently and on time.

Maintaining and updating customer spreadsheets and records.

Monitoring customer-owned stock and arranging storage charges where applicable.

Providing cover for other Sales Administrators during periods of annual leave or absence.

Assisting the Office Manager with general administrative duties.

Supporting the Service department with invoicing.

Carrying out additional administrative and ad hoc duties as required.
About You
Our client is looking for a highly organised and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks and priorities in a busy environment.
The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience within a Sales Administration, Customer Service or general Administration role.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organisational and time-management abilities.

A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Confidence communicating with customers, suppliers and internal teams.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

A proactive, flexible and positive approach to work.
-
Experience using SAP would be advantageous, although this is not essential.
