HR Administrator
Rate - £150 - £160 (A day)
Location - Hemel Hempstead (Hybrid)
Duration - 6 Months (Initially)
As an HR Administrator, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of HR processes, supporting employees and managers across onboarding, employee changes, and offboarding activities. You will be the first point of contact for HR-related queries, providing a professional and positive employee experience while maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, combining office-based and remote working from the Hemel Hempstead office.
Key Responsibilities
HR Administration & Employee Lifecycle Management
Coordinate onboarding, employment changes, and offboarding processes.
Prepare and issue employment contracts, letters, and other HR documentation.
Support induction and new starter activities.
Ensure all HR administration is completed accurately and within agreed timelines.
Employee Relations Support
Provide administrative support for employee relations cases.
Take accurate notes during meetings and maintain confidential records.
Support HR colleagues and managers throughout ER processes.
HR Systems & Data Management
Maintain accurate employee records across HR systems.
Process employee changes including promotions, transfers, and leavers.
Support HR reporting, audits, and GDPR compliance activities.
Ensure data integrity and confidentiality at all times.
HR Advisory & Employee Support
Act as the first point of contact for HR queries.
Provide timely and accurate guidance within agreed levels of responsibility.
Escalate more complex issues to the HR team when required.
Additional HR Support
Assist in coordinating training and employee engagement initiatives.
Provide general administrative support across the HR function.
Contribute ideas to improve HR processes and enhance efficiency.

Essential Skills & Experience
Previous HR administration experience.
Strong administrative and organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Professional, discreet, and capable of handling confidential information.
Desirable Experience
Experience working within a large, global, or multi-site organisation.
Exposure to high-volume HR administration and employee lifecycle processes.
Experience using HR systems and maintaining employee data records
