Tezlom is currently recruiting Male Home Care Workers / Domiciliary Care Assistants to join our dedicated homecare team in the Hayes area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives by providing high-quality, person-centred care in the community.

We are particularly interested in candidates who are experienced- (Punjabi/Hindi speakers preferred)

Key Responsibilities

As a Home Care Worker / Domiciliary Care Assistant, your duties will include:

Providing personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and feeding
Supporting Service Users with daily living activities and personal hygiene
Promoting dignity, privacy, and independence at all times
Assisting individuals with limited mobility using appropriate equipment
Supporting Service Users with physical, emotional, cultural, and spiritual needs
Monitoring and supporting individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, palliative or long-term health conditions
Administering or supporting medication in line with care plans and policies
Completing accurate care records, daily notes, and Medication Administration Records (MAR sheets)
Encouraging social activities, hobbies, and community engagement
Preparing meals, snacks, and supporting with eating and drinking where required
Carrying out light household tasks to maintain a safe and clean environment
Cleaning and maintaining equipment such as commodes, hearing aids, and glasses
Escorting Service Users to appointments, outings, or social visits
Ensuring the security of Service Users’ homes at the start and end of each visit
Maintaining confidentiality and integrity in all aspects of care and support
