Eden Brown Synergy are currently looking for an experienced Qualified Social Worker to join the Fostering Team for Achieving for Children
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Undertaking assessments of prospective foster carers, including connected persons and mainstream fostering assessments.
- Providing supervision, guidance, and ongoing support to foster carers.
- Completing annual foster carer reviews and preparing reports for fostering panels.
- Working closely with children in care, foster carers, birth families, and partner agencies.
- Supporting foster carers with safeguarding concerns, placement disruptions, and behavioural management strategies.
- Ensuring all statutory visits, recordings, and documentation are completed accurately and within required timescales.
- Contributing to care planning and permanency planning for children looked after.

Applying fostering regulations, national minimum standards, and safeguarding legislation within practice.

£37.52 p/h Umb
Essential Requirements:
- Social Work Qualification - Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years' experience within Children's Social Care
- Previous experience within a Fostering Team
- Social Work England Registration

Thorough knowledge of fostering regulations and safeguarding legislation
