Location: Central Manchester + Hybrid
Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 + study support
Key Responsibilities
Process high volumes of supplier invoices, ensuring accurate coding, matching, and authorisation
Reconcile supplier statements and proactively investigate and resolve any discrepancies
Maintain supplier accounts, ensuring ledgers remain accurate and up to date
Verify utility billing rates against agreed contractual terms
Ensure all invoices are processed within supplier payment terms
Handle supplier queries efficiently and professionally
Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative duties as required
Candidate specification:
Previous Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable experience
Strong Microsoft Excel skills and confidence using financial systems
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
