Accounts Administrator

About the role
We’re a well established construction and maintenance company based in Dartford, with a busy workload and a close-knit team. We’re looking for an Accounts Administrator to join us and support the day-to-day running of our accounts and office. This is a key role within the business, and you’ll be working closely with our directors, site teams, and external accountants.

What you’ll be doing
• Processing purchase and sales invoices
• Managing supplier accounts and dealing with queries
• Assisting with monthly accounts and reconciliations
• Supporting applications, valuations, and cost tracking
• Handling timesheets, expenses, and payroll support where needed
• Keeping financial records accurate and up to date
• Working alongside colleagues across the business to keep things running smoothly
• Helping with general office and accounts administration
What we’re looking for
• Previous experience in an accounts or finance administration role
• Construction or maintenance experience is helpful, but not essential
• Confident using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or similar
• Comfortable with Excel and general office systems
• Organised, reliable, and good at managing your time
• Friendly, approachable, and able to communicate clearly
