Projects Administrator
Job Location: Portsmouth, Hampshire (Hybrid working)
Job Type: 12-month Contract
Salary: £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm

As a Projects Administrator, you will play a critical role in keeping complex, high‑profile engineering and technology projects running smoothly.

Working alongside experienced project managers on large, complex programmes

Acting as the go‑to administrative expert within client‑facing teams

Moving between projects, learning fast and building valuable experience
What you will be doing;

Delivering high‑quality, responsive administrative support in a busy project environment

Scheduling meetings, managing diaries and coordinating key actions

Owning documentation and producing reports & presentations
-
Supporting day‑to‑day project delivery and helping remove obstacles

Attending client meetings and project reviews

Communicating confidently and professionally with stakeholders at all levels

You are proactive, organised and enjoy being part of a team that gets things done. You don’t wait to be asked — you take initiative, stay one step ahead and pride yourself on doing things properly.
Experience required;

Administrative or clerical experience in a structured or complex environment

Excellent organisational, communication and presentation skills

Experience juggling priorities and working with multiple stakeholders

A sharp eye for detail and a practical, solutions‑focused mindset

Experience in government or defence environments is advantageous
Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates must meet UK National Security Vetting requirements.
