Warehouse Operative - Immediate Start
Stowmarket, Suffolk
£13.00 + per hour (with potential pay increase after probation)
Full-time - 40 hours per week (07:00-15:00, Monday to Friday)
Temporary (3 months) with potential to extend or become permanent
Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced and reactive Manufacturing environment in Stowmarket. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for an immediate start, with the possibility of a long-term position.
Key Responsibilities
Processing goods in and out using an ERP system (full training provided)
Maintaining accurate stock control records (electronic and paper-based backup)
Picking and packing parts accurately and efficiently for dispatch
Moving and storing stock, including completed machines and sub-assemblies
Loading and unloading delivery vehicles
Arranging shipping and freight
Monitoring and managing outstanding sales orders
Communicating with customers via phone and email
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Good attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skillsDesirable (but not essential):
Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
Reach Truck Licence
