Role: Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative
Location: Sudbury, Suffolk
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
Pay: Up to £14.00+ p/hour (DOE)
Contract: Temporary ongoing (potential for permanent contract)
Join a well-established manufacturing business in Sudbury as a Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative, producing high-quality plastic components in a clean, structured environment. If you have machining or production experience and are looking for a change, full training will be provided.
Plastic Vacuum Forming Operative Duties:
Set up and operate vacuum forming machines, including loading tools and plastic sheets
Monitor heating/forming cycles and trim finished components to specification
Carry out quality checks and identify defects
Perform basic machine maintenance and keep equipment clean and operational
Follow job sheets, production schedules, and safety procedures
Maintain a clean and organised workspaceWho are we looking for?
Previous vacuum forming or plastics experience desirable but not essential
Good manual dexterity and attention to detail
Able to follow instructions and work to production standards
Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
Positive attitude and willingness to learnPay & Hours:
Up to £14.00 p/hour (DOE)
Monday to Thursday, 06:30 - 17:00
