Job title: Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative
We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operative to join a busy warehouse team. This is a hands-on role for someone with a valid counterbalance licence who takes pride in safe, accurate and efficient work.
Key responsibilities:
Operate counterbalance forklift to load, unload and move goods safely
Receive, check and stow incoming deliveries
Picking, packing and preparing orders for dispatch
Carry out stock rotations and basic inventory checks
Maintain accurate records using handheld scanners / warehouse systems
Keep the warehouse clean, organised and comply with health & safety procedures
Assist with ad-hoc warehouse tasks as required
Skills and experience required:
Valid counterbalance forklift licence (essential)
Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred
Good attention to detail and basic numeracy
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
Physically fit and able to manually handle loads (typically up to 25kg)
Reliable, punctual and flexible with working hours
Hours and package:
Full-time role; day shift with some flexibility required (occasional overtime possible)
Competitive hourly rate paid weekly
