Learning Support Assistant
Prospero Teaching is proud to be working with a diverse and welcoming mainstream primary school in Norbury, South West London. We are currently looking for an experienced and energetic Learning Support Assistant to be in addition to an inclusive two-form entry school from April 2026.
POSITION DETAILS
· Location - Norbury, South West London
· Position - Learning Support Assistant
· Type of work - Supporting the teacher within the classroom, 1:1 support, group sessions, interventions.
· Start date - April 2026
· Position type - Full time Long Term
Salary - £105 - £115
Hours - 8:15am - 15:45pm: Mon - Fri (term time only)
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
UK experience working within a primary/nursery setting.
DBS on the Update Service
Experience and knowledge within SEN
Proven ability to support high-quality teaching that promotes progress and inclusion for all pupils.
Strong behaviour management
Commitment to safeguarding, wellbeing, and continuous professional development.
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
· Hold Right to Work in the UK
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
· Provide two professional child related references that cover at least the last two years
