Pay: £90–£105 per day (depending on experience)
A supportive and inclusive primary school in Wembley is seeking a confident Learning Support Assistant / Behaviour Mentor to join their team for the Summer Term, with the opportunity to continue into the next academic year from September.
This role is particularly suited to someone who can act as a positive role model, supporting pupils who may present with behavioural or social-emotional needs, helping them to engage positively with school life.
The Role:

Providing 1:1 support for pupils with behavioural or SEMH needs

Supporting small groups focused on emotional regulation and social skills

Helping pupils manage routines, transitions, and behaviour throughout the school day

Working both in and out of the classroom to support engagement and learning

Encouraging positive behaviour, resilience, and independence

Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to implement behaviour strategies
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting children with behavioural needs or SEMH

Background in psychology, youth work, coaching, or mentoring is desirable

Calm, resilient, and confident in managing challenging behaviour

Able to build strong relationships and act as a positive role model

Proactive, adaptable, and committed to supporting pupils’ development
