Role Overview
The plating process involves copper plating of PCBs on a semi-automated line. Responsibilities include:
Accurately reading route cards to match jobs with card details and required board quantities
Setting up machines according to job specifications
Following SOPs precisely (a good level of English is required to understand verbal and written instructions)
Ensuring jobs are completed correctly and on time
Learning basic machine maintenance to keep equipment running efficiently
Handling boards correctly at all times
Prioritising jobs to maximise efficiency and throughputIdeal candidate
Excellent attention to detail
Strong focus and work ethic
Ability to meet daily production targets
Careful and gentle handling of boards
Quick learner with a willingness to develop
Good English skills (verbal and written)
Flexibility with shifts and overtime (if required)
Hard-working team playerA skills matrix progression from Grade A to Grade B is available after successful completion of a 6-month probation period.
Hours
Monday–Friday: 06:00–18:00 and 06:00–14:00
OR
Monday–Friday: 18:00–06:00 and 18:00–02:00
OR
Friday–Sunday: 18:00–06:00Pay Rates £12.84 – £15.08 per hour
