Job Title: Warehouse Forklift Operative
Location: Sidcup
Hours: 10:00–18:30
Contract: Temporary PAYE via Pertemps
We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse Forklift Operative on a temporary basis to provide essential cover. The successful candidate must be confident operating both Counterbalance and Reach trucks ( in date, external license) and willing to support a variety of warehouse duties — this is not just a forklift role, and hands‑on manual handling will be required.
Key Responsibilities
As our Warehouse Forklift Operative, you will be responsible for:
Operating Counterbalance and Reach trucks safely.
Picking pallets, sheets, and cartons, including packing where needed.
Assisting with unloading vehicles.
Completing put away of pallets and cases.
General warehouse duties and manual handling tasks.Additional Requirements
A full driving licence is essential, as the Warehouse Forklift Operative will occasionally be required to bring lorries into the yard in the evening when needed.
Ability to work independently and within a small team.
Good attention to detail and safety awareness.
