Warehouse Yard Person
If you’re an ambitious warehouse yard person with forklift experience, we have a great opportunity for you to excel within our busy tool hire and site supplies business.
Working in a busy, fast-paced warehouse environment, you'll be responsible for picking and preparing customer orders, safely loading and unloading vehicles, and keeping our systems up to date. You'll ensure stock is organised, deliveries go out on time, and the warehouse remains a safe and tidy space for the team.

Warehouse Yard Person your responsibilities

Picking customer orders efficiently and accurately

Loading & unloading vehicles

Operating a forklift truck

Updating our warehouse software and stock records

Keeping the warehouse organised, clean, and compliant with safety standards

Supporting stock checks and inventory control

Collaborating with the tool hire and site supplies teams on a daily basis
Warehouse Yard Person Must Haves

Physically capable of handling construction tools and equipment

A great attitude and a willingness to get the job done

A genuine team player who takes pride in their work

Strong time management and attention to detail

Forklift experience (preferred but not essential)

Good communication skills and a positive approach

Confidence using computers and warehouse systems like a PDA

A full UK driving licence (preferred but not essential)

Reliability, honesty, and a sense of responsibility
