Warehouse Operative
Location: Maidstone
Pay: £12.21 per hour (Goes to £15.01 per hour after 12 weeks)
Hours: Night shift, 00:30am – 09:30am

About the Role
We are recruiting Warehouse Operatives on behalf of a well known national parcel delivery company based in Maidstone. This is a full time night shift opportunity within a fast paced distribution environment, supporting the movement of parcels through the depot.
This role would suit someone with previous warehouse experience who enjoys working as part of a team and is comfortable working nights. Experience in similar roles such as parcel sorter, warehouse assistant, logistics operative, distribution operative, order picker, or goods in and out operative could transfer well into this position.
What You’ll Do

Sorting and scanning parcels within the warehouse

Loading and unloading delivery vehicles

Moving packages safely through the depot

Working as part of a team to keep parcels moving efficiently

Following warehouse health and safety procedures at all times

Keeping work areas clean and organised
What We’re Looking For

Previous warehouse or distribution centre experience

Safety boots and HI-VIS vest

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Available for full time night shifts
This position could be a great fit for someone who has worked as a warehouse operative, parcel handler, sorter, logistics assistant, picker packer, or distribution centre operative. People with experience in courier depots, retail stockrooms, freight handling, or other busy warehouse environments often transition well into this type of work.
