HR Administrator – Secondary School

✨ Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Administrator to work in a busy and supportive secondary school in Bradford. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is highly organised, professional, and confident managing HR processes within an education or office environment.
⚠️ Please note: Only applicants with previous HR experience will be considered for this role.
You will play a key role in ensuring the school’s HR systems, recruitment processes, and staff records are maintained to a high standard while supporting the senior leadership team and school administration.
Key Responsibilities
️ Maintain accurate staff personnel files and HR databases
Support with safer recruitment checks, including DBS and compliance documentation
Assist with staff onboarding and induction processes
Maintain absence records and HR documentation
Liaise with staff, senior leaders, and external agencies when required
Ensure all HR procedures follow school safeguarding and employment policies
Provide general administrative and HR support to the wider school team
✅ The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous HR experience (ESSENTIAL – applications without HR experience will not be considered)
Excellent organisation and attention to detail
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage confidential information professionally
Experience with HR systems or school MIS systems (desirable)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
