Press Operative / Manufacturing Operative
Location: Tewkesbury
Contract Type: Ongoing temporary role, with the view to go permanent for the right candidate
Hourly Pay Rate: £15.68 per hour (increasing to £16.02 per hour on completion of training)
Hours: 37.5 per week

We're seeking a Press Operative / Manufacturing Operative to join our client's team in a hands-on role where quality, safety, and teamwork are key. What You'll Be Doing
After a basic training period, you'll be able to work with limited supervision to produce parts in line with health, safety, and quality standards. Your responsibilities will include:

Operating a limited number of machines safely and efficiently

Using guards and safety switches correctly

Locating materials and tooling
-
Identifying and using correct parts and machines for production

Handling tools and moulds safely

Following production paperwork and procedures

Maintaining high standards of housekeeping

Flexibly supporting other areas of production as needed

Adhering to all HSE requirements
Shift Patterns
This role operates on a two-week rotating shift pattern:

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Week 2: Monday to Thursday, 2:00 PM - 11:53 PM
Includes 1 x 30-minute unpaid break per shift.
