YOU Recruitment are supporting an electrical engineering organisation seeking a Temporary Administrative & Operations Assistant to support their team during the set-up, operational period and pack-down of the Farnborough Airshow.
This varied role combines administration, customer interaction and operational support in a fast-moving event environment.
Responsibilities include:
Answering calls and taking messages
Logging live electrical updates and supply requirements
Supporting engineers via two-way radio communication
Welcoming customers and assisting with electrical supply sales
Processing card and cash payments
Helping look after visiting clients (tea, coffee, ice creams and cakes)
General administrative support using Excel, Word and Outlook
What we are seeking:
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
A reliable and organised individual who is proactive
Someone comfortable remaining calm in a busy environment
Good working knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
Full UK driving licence (for occasional supply runs)
Availability for the entirety of the contract (27th April - 4th August)
