Are you an experienced Learning Support Assistant (LSA) looking to step into a more flexible, rewarding tutoring role?
Powertutors is seeking dedicated LSAs to provide tailored 1:1 and small group support for pupils in schools and alternative provisions, as well as through local authority commissioned tuition.
The Role
As an LSA Tutor, you will:
- Deliver personalised academic and pastoral support
- Work with pupils with SEND, SEMH, or those out of mainstream education
- Support literacy, numeracy, and core subject learning
- Build confidence and re-engage learners with education
- Provide session feedback and progress reports
Assignments may take place in schools, community settings, or at home (in line with safeguarding policies).

✅ We’re Looking For
- Experience working as an LSA or Teaching Assistant
- Experience supporting pupils with SEND or additional needs
- Strong behaviour management and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
- A passion for helping young people succeed
