Just Recruitment is currently recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our client based in Witham.
Duties include:
- Managing purchase, sales ledger transactions
- Performing regular bank reconciliations
- Daily use of Xero and Microsoft Excel for financial processing and reporting
- Responding to finance-related queries across the business
- Liaising regularly with suppliers to resolve account queries
- Handling customer queries in relation to debt control
- Supporting the accounts team with day-to-day finance operations
- Reconciling supplier statements to ensure accuracy of records
- Providing support to the workshop and other departments as required
Skills required:
- Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) and accounting software like Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks.
- Accuracy: High level of attention to detail for managing financial figures.
- Communication: Ability to liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
- A team player who is helpful and reliable
