Learning Support Assistant - Specialist SEN School & College (Ringwood)
Prospero Teaching is seeking calm, patient and resilient Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) to join a highly regarded specialist SEN school and college in Ringwood, supporting pupils and young adults aged 5-25 with predominantly autism and complex needs.
This nurturing setting provides a safe, structured and relationship‑centred environment where learners are supported to understand themselves, build emotional regulation skills and re‑engage positively with education. Staff recognise that every young person's journey is unique, shaped by their experiences, strengths and the support around them.
Through personalised assessments, targeted interventions, therapeutic approaches and reflective practice, the school helps students identify and overcome barriers to learning. Many learners present with needs relating to communication, social understanding, emotional regulation, sensory processing or anxiety, and the school's holistic approach enables them to grow academically, socially and emotionally.
