An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Customer Hire Desk Admin to join a busy team in Preston. My client is a large Plant hire company with depots across the UK.
The Role:
Handle on-hire and off-hire enquiries via telephone, email, and online ordering systems
Resolve supplier issues efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to service
Liaise with internal departments to ensure a smooth and effective hire process
Maintain accurate hire records and update internal systems accordingly
Ensure all hire documentation and processes are completed to a high standard
Provide a professional and customer-focused service at all timesThe Ideal Candidate:
Previous experience within a hire desk, plant hire, or equipment rental environment (desirable)
Strong communication and organisational skills
Confident managing enquiries across telephone, email, and internal systems
Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively in a fast-paced office
