Male Learning Support Assistants (LSA) Required
Colchester | 1:1 & Full Class Support Roles | Multiple Vacancies
We are currently recruiting Male Learning Support Assistants to support a range of settings across Colchester. We have multiple opportunities available, including both 1:1 support roles and full class support positions.
These roles are ideal for individuals who are patient, resilient, and passionate about making a difference in young people's lives.
We have both full and part time options available. Most roles available are fixed term contracts initially, leading to permanent employment.
The Role
Providing 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, including SEND and SEMH
Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the curriculum
Assisting with behaviour management and promoting positive learning environments
Supporting students with social, emotional, and academic development
Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN teams
We Are Looking For
Male candidates (required for role-specific pupil needs)
Experience working with children or young people, ideally within education or support settings
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
A calm, consistent and professional approach
Ability to commit to full-time or long-term placements
