We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to assist in supportive secondary school within the Salford area. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a real difference to students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
The Role:
Support pupils with SEND in 1:1 or small group sessions
Assist teachers in planning and delivering lessons tailored to individual needs
Help implement behaviour and learning support strategies
Encourage engagement and participation in class
Monitor and record student progress
Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development
The Ideal Candidate Will:
Have experience or a strong interest in working with pupils with SEND
Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable
Be proactive in supporting learning and behaviour
Understand safeguarding procedures (training can be provided)
Have good communication and teamwork skills
Have the ability to commute to Salford
