POSITION: Production Admin
LOCATION: Rotherham Area
HOURS: Monday - Thursday 08.00 to 16.30 & Friday 08.00 to 15.30
SALARY: £13.45-£14.50 per hour (39 paid hours per week)
RESPONSIBILITIES
Job Administration
-
Process customer orders, booking jobs into our job management system.

Issue new job cards to the Shift Supervisor.

Book out completed jobs, issue the delivery note with the completed job ready for delivery to the customer.

General job administration tasks, issuing prices, chasing PO numbers.
Customer Management
-
Handle incoming calls from customers and suppliers.

Take details from customers over the phone regarding their requirements for jobs.

Where requested, liaise with customers regarding ongoing work.
Purchasing/Stock management

Obtain prices for materials and sub-contract purchases, raise orders on our system and issue to suppliers.

Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery and for sub-contractors ensuring they have the job information required to complete works.

Update stock levels to system.

Oversee deliveries to site, manage off-load, check deliveries, GRN.
Collections/Deliveries

Organise transport requirements for collections and deliveries.

Loading/unloading deliveries using safe methods for loading.

Deliver completed jobs to customers.

Collect orders from suppliers for raw materials and sub-con processes.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
-
Experience in a similar administrative role

Experience within mechanical engineering or an interest in engineering would be advantageous

Excellent customer service skills, enjoy speaking to customers on the phone and in person

Strong computer skills and comfortable learning new systems & competent in the use of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint

• FLT licence would be beneficial, if not, be willing attend training

Full clean driving licence
