Responsibilities for Assistant Design Manager
• Support the design team in coordinating architectural, structural, and MEP consultants
• Monitor design submissions to ensure they meet project requirements, planning approvals, and quality standards
• Prepare design reports, schedules, and progress updates
• Collaborate with contractors and developers to resolve design issues efficiently
• Assist in maintaining programme, budget, and design quality throughout the project
Requirements for the Assistant Design Manager role
• Experience in a similar role
• Residential project experience, ideally multi-block or retirement living developments
• Strong understanding of construction detailing, design coordination, and compliance
• Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Competency in design software and BIM coordination
