What you’ll be getting stuck into as a Facilities Assistant
Carrying out daily building checks to ensure both sites remain safe, compliant and well presented
Supporting health and safety routines, reporting issues quickly and helping maintain site standards
Monitoring contractors on site to ensure work is delivered safely and to expectation
Assisting with opening and closing procedures, including CCTV, intruder and fire alarm checks
Completing general maintenance tasks, office moves, furniture installation and porter duties including post and deliveries
Supporting reception cover and helping set up event and hire spaces for public programmes
What you’ll bring to the table as a Facilities Assistant
Previous experience in facilities support within a commercial, charity or public environment
Working knowledge of health and safety processes and building compliance routines
Experience liaising with contractors and external service providers
Confidence using Microsoft Office for reporting and communication
A valid first aid qualification or willingness to complete training
Working hours: 35 hours per week, with flexibility to work occasional unsociable hours as required.
