Pertemps are recruiting for a General Warehouse Operative to join one of our established homeware clients on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis.
Based within a busy warehouse environment, you will be working closely with the Goods-In and operative teams to ensure the smooth running of daily operations. Regular communication with your Team Leader will be required to maintain an efficient workflow.
Your operative duties will include picking and packing homeware items, replenishing pick locations, and assisting with loading and unloading deliveries. This role involves regular heavy lifting and manual handling.
You will also support general housekeeping of the shop floor, ensuring work areas are kept clean and tidy in line with warehouse standards.
Hours & Pay
Monday to Friday
08:00 – 16:30
£12.69 per hour

Ideal Candidate
Previous warehouse experience preferred
Physically fit and comfortable with manual work and heavy lifting
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills and a strong work ethic
Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
Driving licence and own transport ideal due to the rural location
