Job Title: Logistics / Transport Administrator – Food Manufacturing
Salary: £13.50 – £14.00 per hour
Location: Wakefield, Yorkshire // On-site
Type: 6 Month FTC (with potential to go Permanent)
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm (overtime may be required)

Overview:
The Flavour Network are recruiting a Logistics / Transport Administrator to join a busy, well-established food manufacturing business in Yorkshire. This is an on-site fixed term contract role, with potential to move into a permanent position after approximately 6 months.
Reporting to the Dispatch & Logistics Manager, you will support day-to-day logistics and transport arrangements. This is a hands-on role where attention to detail and clear communication are key.
Responsibilities for the Logistics / Transport Administrator:

Supporting logistics and transport arrangements efficiently

Acting as a customer-facing point of contact, ensuring queries are handled professionally

Maintaining accurate transport and dispatch records

Supporting the wider admin team with general logistics tasks

Reporting into the Dispatch & Logistics Manager on daily operations
Essential Requirements for the Logistics / Transport Administrator:

Previous administrative experience in a logistics or transport postition is preferred.

Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Good organisational and time-management skills

Confident communication skills for customer-facing duties
