We’re hiring for an Accounts Assistant to join a growing business in Glossop.
This is a great role for someone who enjoys getting stuck into bookkeeping, payroll support, and day-to-day accounts work.
What’s on offer?
What will you be doing as an Accounts Assistant?

Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts

Completing bookkeeping and data entry using accounting software

Supporting monthly payroll processes and helping ensure HMRC compliance

Maintaining accurate financial records, receipts, and client files
-
Liaising with clients to gather information, chase documents, and resolve queries

Helping with VAT returns, expenses, basic tax tasks, and general accounts admin
What do you need?

Previous experience in a similar role

Bookkeeping experience

Payroll experience (desirable but not essential)

Confident using accounting software
