Our client, a leading organisation in the financial services sector, is searching for an enthusiastic Customer Service Assistant to join their vibrant team in Orpington. π¦ They help the police community save, invest, and protect their finances in a way that's tailored to their unique needs.
Position Details:
Hours: 9am - 5pm
Days: Monday - Friday
Contract Type: Permanent
Annual Salary: Β£26,000
Location: Just a 14-minute walk from Orpington train station π
Key Responsibilities: As a Customer Service Assistant, you will be instrumental in achieving both financial and non-financial targets. Your responsibilities will include:
Engaging with customers and prospects to provide product information and support throughout the application process
Building strong relationships by answering queries about new products and renewals π€
Processing new business applications and ISA transfers while ensuring timelines and quality standards are met
Handling inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and accuracy π
Maintaining detailed records through data input and correspondence scanning
Collaborating with the Field Team to enhance knowledge of the Police affinity group
Assisting with service improvement initiatives and any additional duties assigned by the Chief Executive Officer
What We're Looking For: To excel in this role, you should possess:
A strong background in customer service
Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure
Strong attention to detail and proficiency in MS Office
A results-driven mindset with exceptional time management skills
The ability to adapt to workload fluctuations and work effectively as part of a teamπ
