We are currently looking for a Sales Administrator to join our friendly team based at our Tarmac Colchester Office. This role is commutable from Colchester, Tiptree, West Mersea, Clacton-on-Sea, Great Bentley, Braintree, Witham, Ipswich, Sudbury, Halstead, Chelmsford and the surrounding areas.
Main Responsibilities
As the Sales Administrator you will have worked in a similar industry providing either internal or external sales support to your wider team and the Tarmac group. Other responsibilities for this role will include:
Demonstrate an excellent telephone manner when dealing with colleagues and customers
Prioritise and multitask daily duties
Handling incoming telephone calls and emails
Understanding and assessing team needs
Supporting the sales team by handling their requests or directing to a relevant department
Maintain up-to-date and accurate CRM and SAP records
Engage with the wider Tarmac team to better understand requirements and develop and maintain relationships
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders as required
Maintain proactive communication across the region of work
The Ideal Candidate
It is preferred that the successful candidate for the role of Sales Administrator will be experienced in the following:
SAP and CRM systems
Working collaboratively with the existing team to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner and to a high standard
Showing a positive attitude, building rapport and positive relationships with customers and internal colleagues
Being ambitious to learn new skills and achieve your own personal goals, as well as business goalIn the role of Sales Administrator you will also have:
Good interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving skills
Good oral and written communication
Numeracy and analytical abilityTraining will be provided for:
Products, Procedures and our Computer systems
