Overview: MOT tester/ vehicle technician
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for performing a variety of mechanical tasks to assemble, maintain, and repair vehicles. This is a hands-on role that requires strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to work with power tools, hand tools, and schematics. Responsibilities: - Perform vehicle repairs and maintenance tasks according to established guidelines - Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment - Assemble and disassemble vehicle components as needed - Weld and fabricate parts as necessary - Conduct inspections to identify potential problems or safety concerns - Complete necessary paperwork and documentation for each repair or maintenance task - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns - Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles - Maintain a clean and organized work area Experience: - Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or similar role - Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude - Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and diagnostic equipment - Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals - Experience in equipment repair is preferred - Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately - Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physical tasks as required We offer competitive pay based on experience.
