We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established shipping company in Felixstowe who are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities:

Daily management of the account’s inbox.

Accurate processing of supplier invoices relating to jobs.
-
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies.
-
Setting up new supplier accounts.
-
Sales and purchase ledger.
-
Handling manual fast payment documentation.
-
Assisting with processing overhead invoices.
-
Allocating payments to supplier invoices.
-
Performing supplier statement reconciliations.
-
Supporting month-end processes.
Skills & Experience Required:
-
Experience in day-to-day accounts processing, including purchase and sales ledger.

Proficient with accounting software (preferably Sage 200) and Microsoft Excel.

Organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail.
-
Team-oriented, with good communication and time management skills.
