Role Responsibilities
- Process end-to-end payroll for a diverse workforce, ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.
- Ensure timely and accurate payments, including processing of overtime, bonuses, and deductions.
- Manage and resolve payroll-related queries from employees and external stakeholders.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports to senior management and the finance team.
- Ensure compliance with HMRC regulations, including the filing of PAYE, NIC, and RTI submissions.
- Assist with year-end processes, including P60/P11D preparation.
- Maintain accurate records of employee benefits and pension contributions.
Person Specification
- Previous experience in payroll, with a solid understanding of payroll systems and legislation.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to resolve payroll queries effectively.
- Discreet and able to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
- A proactive approach, working independently and as part of a team.
