A growing contractor operating across East Anglia, London and the Midlands, working on a variety of projects from New Build to Refurbishments with projects including Schools and Hospitals up to £15m
Your new role
Due to this continued growth and project wins, they are now looking to recruit a Design Manager to join their team. As Design Manager, you will manage the design team and all the processes in relation to producing a set of construction issue deliverables that a building can be built from.
Some duties to include:
- Lead and manage the design team, providing guidance and support.
- Oversee the development of design concepts and project plans.
- Ensure all designs comply with industry standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide design solutions.
- Conduct regular design reviews and quality checks.
- Strive to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.
What you'll need to succeed - Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with both customers and all levels of staff
- Good computer skills, including the use of MS applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project)
