Job Vacancy: Group Operations Coordinator We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Operations Coordinator to support our Group Operations Manager. This key role is ideal for someone with a strong background in guiding and lodge management, looking to contribute their expertise across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary support to the Group Operations Manager, coordinating operations across various lodge sites.
- Conduct regular on-site visits to lodges, spending approximately 15 days each month traveling to ensure operational excellence.
- Based at our head office in Ballito for 6 days each month to collaborate with management and align with broader strategic objectives.
- Work closely with lodge teams, providing mentorship and guidance, with a particular focus on training and development of guides and staff.
- Support in maintaining high standards of guest service and operational efficiency at each lodge.
Requirements: - Proven background as a guide, ideally with experience in training and mentoring other guides.
- Lodge management experience, demonstrating a deep understanding of hospitality operations and guest services.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a proactive and hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively to various lodge locations.
