Job Title: Powder Coater
Location: Brentwood (Small village outside, must drive to be able to get here)
Salary: up to £33,800 per year depending on experience
Hours: Monday-Friday days, paid breaks
The job:
To prepare metal components and surfaces and apply powder coating using electrostatic spray equipment.
Job Description:
Prepare metal surfaces for powder coating, including cleaning, degreasing, masking, sanding and pre-treatment where required.
Operate electrostatic powder coating spray guns and associated equipment to apply an even coating to metal components.
Ensure correct powder application, coating thickness and coverage across all surfaces, edges and difficult-to-reach areas.
Select and use the correct powder coating materials and colours in accordance with job specifications.
Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet company standards and customer requirements.
Identify and rectify coating defects where possible, including reworking components when necessary
