We are currently looking for 3 experienced Carpenters to join a construction project in Canary Wharf, London, specialising in formwork.
This is a great opportunity for skilled carpenters with previous experience working on construction sites and carrying out formwork duties.
REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as a Carpenter on construction sites
Previous formwork and shuttering experience essential
Valid CSCS Blue Skilled Worker Card (minimum)
Own hand tools and appropriate PPE
Ability to read and work from construction drawings
Good knowledge of site health & safety procedures
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Reliable, hardworking and able to meet project deadlines
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Carrying out formwork and shuttering installations
Setting out and measuring accurately
Constructing and assembling formwork for concrete structures
Reading and interpreting construction drawings
Installing and striking formwork safely
Working alongside site teams to meet project deadlines
Maintaining high standards of workmanship, health & safety and housekeeping
