Secure a solid contract working on a commercial office fit-out project in Canary Wharf, East London. We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Tester to join a professional site team carrying out electrical inspection, testing and certification works on a commercial office refurbishment.
This is a great opportunity for a qualified Electrical Tester looking for competitive day rates, a well-organised commercial project and a clear scope of works.

Duration: 3–4 Weeks

Project: Commercial Office Fit-Out
Your Role Will Include:

Electrical inspection and testing on commercial office installations
-
Initial verification and testing of electrical circuits
-
Completing Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs)
-
Identifying and reporting electrical defects and non-compliances
-
Carrying out continuity, insulation resistance, polarity and RCD testing
-
Testing lighting, power and distribution circuits
-
Working from electrical drawings and specifications
-
Ensuring all testing complies with BS 7671 regulations

Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety
The Successful Electrical Tester Will Have:
-
JIB Gold Card / NVQ Level 3 Qualified Electrician

18th Edition qualification
-
City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification or equivalent
-
Strong experience in commercial electrical testing

Previous experience working on commercial office fit-out projects
-
Ability to complete electrical certification accurately
-
Own calibrated testing equipment, tools and PPE
-
Reliable, professional attitude and ability to work independently
