Are you an experienced Business Analyst with a passion for transforming Children's Services through operational excellence and process improvement? This is an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to play a key role in the implementation of a new operating model, helping to shape and improve the way services are delivered. With an immediate start available and the potential for contract extension, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a visible impact from day one.
As a Business Analyst, you will work closely with senior stakeholders, operational teams and service leaders to review current practices, identify opportunities for improvement and design future-state processes that enhance efficiency, consistency and service outcomes. This is a transformation-focused role, not an IT systems integration project, making it ideal for a Business Analyst who thrives in business change and service redesign environments.
Your Role as Business Analyst:
• Lead end-to-end process mapping across Children's Services functions
• Deliver gap analysis and identify operational inefficiencies, duplication and improvement opportunities
• Design and document future-state processes aligned to the new operating model
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops and engage with service teams to gather requirements and build consensus
• Support the implementation of service improvements using Lean Six Sigma, service design and continuous improvement methodologies
Your Previous Experience as Business Analyst:
• Proven experience as a Business Analyst delivering complex process improvement and transformation programmes
• Strong expertise in Lean Six Sigma, business process re-engineering and operational redesign
• Excellent stakeholder engagement, workshop facilitation and requirements gathering skills
• Experience working within Children's Services, Social Care, SEND or wider local government environments
• Demonstrable track record of supporting organisational change and operating model implementation
This opportunity offers a competitive day rate of £500 per day to attract experienced professionals with the right blend of business analysis, process improvement and transformation expertise.
