Are you passionate about housing and looking for a role where you can make a visible difference within local communities?
I am pleased to partnering again with a medium-sized housing provider looking for a Housing Estates Parking Administrator to join their Housing team on a 6 month initial interim contract. This is an opportunity to become a valued part of a collaborative service, helping to ensure neighbourhoods remain safe, accessible and well managed for residents.
This isn't just an administrative role. You'll be out and about across residential estates, acting as a front-facing representative of the organisation, building positive relationships with residents and working closely with colleagues across Housing, Estate Services and Community Safety.
From responding to residents' complaints and investigating parking issues to identifying wider estate risks, you'll play an important role in creating neighbourhoods that residents can feel confident in.
What will you be doing?
Carrying out regular planned and responsive visits across residential estates and parking areas.
Inspecting parking bays, access routes, emergency routes, yellow lines, restricted areas and other parking controls.
Identifying abandoned, untaxed, unauthorised or incorrectly parked vehicles and taking appropriate action.
Issuing warning, information and enforcement notices in line with agreed procedures.
Managing parking cases from the initial report and site inspection through to resolution or escalation.
Responding to residents' reports and enquiries around parking, obstructive vehicles and signage concerns.
Maintaining accurate case notes, site visit records and information on relevant systems.
Working closely with Housing, Estate Services, Community Safety and external enforcement partners to resolve issues.
What I am looking for?
I am looking for someone who is organised, approachable and confident working with people from a variety of backgrounds. You'll be comfortable spending time out on residential estates, engaging with residents and dealing with potentially challenging situations, while also managing the administrative and case management side of the role. Ideally, you'll have experience within social housing, parking, estate services, neighbourhood services or another customer-focused environment, along with strong communication skills and good attention to detail. An understanding of safeguarding, health and safety and risk within residential communities will also be important, as you'll play a visible role in helping to keep neighbourhoods safe and well managed
Sound like you?
If you're passionate about housing, enjoy working with communities and want a role where you can make a genuine difference to resident's neighbourhoods, I'd love to hear from you.
This is a great opportunity to join a housing provider where you'll have a visible presence within the community, contribute to the wider Housing team and play your part in keeping neighbourhoods safe, accessible and well managed.
