Manage purchase order administration and support the review of supplier quotations and terms.
Assist with supplier research, market engagement and commercial evaluations.
Support RFQs, tendering activities and the preparation of procurement strategies and award recommendations.
Maintain accurate procurement documentation, records and audit trails.
Build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders across finance, legal, technical and operational teams.
Contribute to improving procurement processes, governance and supplier management practices.
About You

You’ll ideally have:
3–5 years’ experience in supply chain, procurement, purchasing or commercial support.
Experience coordinating supplier onboarding, qualification, due diligence or supplier management.
An understanding of procurement governance and supplier compliance requirements.
Experience maintaining supplier databases or an Approved Supplier List.
Familiarity with supplier intelligence and risk management processes.
Strong administrative, organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
Experience managing purchase orders, using Excel and working with procurement or tendering systems would be beneficial. CIPS qualifications, or working towards them, would also be advantageous, as would experience in energy, engineering, construction or infrastructure.
Why Consider This Opportunity?
This is an excellent opportunity to join NEP and contribute to a significant UK energy infrastructure project, while developing your procurement and commercial expertise.
You’ll be part of a collaborative team, gain exposure to a broad range of procurement activities and have the opportunity to build a long-term career within supply chain and contracts.
