Driver Hire Teesside are recruiting an experienced Class 2 Road Sweeper Driver for a civil engineering customer based in Stockton-on-Tees.
We are specifically looking for someone with previous road sweeper experience who is comfortable operating within construction and civil engineering environments.
A valid CSCS card is essential for this position.
The role will involve:

Driving and operating a Class 2 road sweeper

Sweeping roads, construction sites and surrounding areas

Safe operation of the vehicle and sweeping equipment

Carrying out daily vehicle and equipment checks

Working around active construction and civil engineering sites

Liaising with site teams and following site instructions

Completing relevant paperwork

Maintaining a high standard of safety and professionalism
Requirements:

Valid Category C / Class 2 licence

Valid Driver CPC

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Previous road sweeper experience – essential

Valid CSCS Card – essential

Good understanding of drivers’ hours and Working Time regulations

Strong awareness of site and vehicle safety
