At Sutherland House School, Positive Behaviour Support and Person-Centred approaches are of paramount importance, and you will be able to contribute to the continued strategic and operational development of these. We offer small class groups, high staffing ratios and excellent opportunities for training and continued professional development.
As a member of the School Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in assuring the quality, consistency and effectiveness of provision across the school. You will lead on quality assurance activities across the school, including teaching and learning, pupil progress and outcomes, safeguarding, medication processes, risk assessments, compliance, policies and procedures, and the implementation of the Teacher Assurance Toolkit. Through monitoring, auditing and evaluation, you will provide assurance that systems and practice are effective, robust and centred on improving outcomes for pupils.
You will have the opportunity to work in collaboration with the School Governing Body, Board of Trustees and Autism East Midlands' Senior Management Team, providing evidence and assurance regarding the quality and effectiveness of provision across the school.
