Multi-Trade Operative – Insurance Repairs

The Opportunity
DK Recruitment are working in partnership with an established property maintenance and repair business that has recently secured a new Direct to Insurer contract. Due to this exciting development, they are looking to recruit additional Multi Trade Operatives across Plymouth, Exeter and Taunton.
These are excellent opportunities for experienced tradespeople with a broad range of property maintenance and repair skills. The work will primarily involve insurance related repairs, meaning no two jobs will necessarily be the same.
Although kitchen and bathroom fitting experience is highly desirable, candidates must have a strong all round multi trade background and be comfortable undertaking a variety of domestic repair and refurbishment works.
Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general property maintenance, repairs and refurbishment works.

Completing kitchen and bathroom repairs, installations and associated finishing work.

Undertaking tiling, including wall and floor tiling.

Completing a range of multi-trade tasks as part of insurance repair projects.

Assessing repair requirements and ensuring work is completed to a high standard.

Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment in customers’ properties.

Communicating professionally with customers, colleagues and management.

Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and in line with required quality standards.
Essential Skills and Experience

Previous experience working as a Multi Trade Operative, Multi Skilled Tradesperson or similar.

A strong background in domestic property maintenance and repairs.

Experience in kitchen and bathroom fitting.

Competent tiling skills, including wall and floor tiling.

Ability to carry out a range of additional trades and general repair work.

A professional, reliable and customer focused approach.

Ability to work independently and manage workloads effectively.
