My client are a national civil engineering contractor who are currently seeking a Foreman to help deliver works on a water treatment site in Chelmsford, with an immediate start available. The successful candidate must have previous water industry experience and a strong civils background.
Foreman Responsibilities:

Supervising site operatives and subcontractors.

Managing day-to-day site activities.

Overseeing civil engineering works on the water treatment site.
-
Coordinating labour, plant and materials.
-
Delivering toolbox talks and ensuring health and safety compliance.
-
Liaising with the Site Manager and project team.
-
Ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to the required quality standards.
Foreman Requirements:
-
Gold CSCS or relevant supervisory CSCS card.
-
SSSTS or SMSTS.
-
Previous experience working on water treatment or water infrastructure schemes.
-
Strong civil engineering background.
-
Good understanding of RAMS and health and safety procedures.
-
Good communication and leadership skills.
-
Full UK driving licence.
