Our client, is seeking a dedicated Risk and Compliance Officer to join their vibrant team in Tring. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual passionate about making a difference while ensuring that the organisation adheres to the highest standards of governance and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
As the Risk and Compliance Officer, your role will be pivotal in safeguarding the organisation's reputation and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Developing, implementing, and maintaining risk management frameworks and compliance policies.
Conducting regular risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend appropriate mitigation's.
Monitoring compliance with internal policies and external regulations, ensuring the organisation operates within legal parameters.
Providing training and support to staff on compliance-related matters, fostering a culture of awareness and accountability.
Collaborating with various departments to promote best practises in risk management and compliance.
Preparing reports for senior management and the board on compliance status and risk exposure.Ideal Candidate:
Proven experience in risk management, compliance, or a related field, preferably within the charity sector.
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and governance frameworks.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex information effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.Benefits:
