✈️ AS9100 EXPERIENCE REQUIRED 📅 6-MONTH CONTRACT
Right Hire Recruitment is looking for a detail-oriented FAIRs Inspector to join a busy engineering and manufacturing environment on an initial 6-month contract.
We’re looking for someone with experience in First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) and a good understanding of AS9100 quality standards, ideally within an aerospace or precision engineering environment.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced quality professional who understands the importance of accurate documentation, traceability and compliance.
🛠️ THE ROLE

Prepare, review and verify First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).

Ensure FAIR documentation complies with AS9100 requirements and applicable customer specifications.

Review engineering drawings, technical specifications and inspection documentation.

Verify dimensional inspection results against drawing requirements and tolerances.

Ensure all required documentation, material certifications and traceability records are complete.

Identify discrepancies and non-conformances and support corrective actions.

Liaise with quality, production and engineering teams to resolve documentation or inspection issues.

Maintain accurate quality records and ensure documentation is completed to the required standards.
✅ WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

Previous experience preparing or reviewing FAIRs.

Good knowledge of AS9100 quality management requirements.

Experience within aerospace, precision engineering or a similar manufacturing environment.

Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.

Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.

Understanding of inspection processes, dimensional results and product traceability.

A proactive approach to quality and compliance.
